  1. What is questionable about the Roman method of memorizing and speaking publicly as a form of learning? It isn't appropriate to always prioritize memorization or public speaking and this is what is questionable. If you are just memorizing just to memorize, or speaking just to speak, and there is emphasis on this, there really isn't any room to actually process the information and fully learn what is being taught.
